Ever been told to do something that you felt so unqualified to do? Sometimes it feels like we are the only ones that feel that way. However I am here to tell you that you are NOT the alone in this. Recently God has been telling me to do somethings that are way outside my comfort zone. I am nervous, you could even call it scared, about recording the lessons that God has taught me. I run a cosmetics business and part of that is going live on social media. I have been with Younique for 3 years, and although you may not be able to see if when I am live, it still to this day makes me so nervous to get on. I worry about not saying the right things, or offending someone. But, God has been working on me a lot over the last few months.
When I heard God say write a blog my first answer was “haha yeah right I can’t do that.” To which God responded “No sister I said write a blog”, so I said yes Lord. No my blog isn’t booming with visitors and comments. No I haven’t posted in almost 2 weeks. However I took the first step, which was the hardest. Now God is asking me to step even farther outside my comfort zone. It seems like the more I put it off and the more I try to say no, the more crap that gets thrown my way to work through. I don’t remember who said it but this quote (so I looked it up) has been on my heart a lot of the last few days.
Courage isn’t the absence of fear, but rather the assessment that something is more important than the fear. -Franklin D. Roosevelt

I wrote a teaching for a group of women on Monday morning, as I was writing it it made absolutely no sense to me. Well that’s because I wasn’t writing it God was. When I delivered it yesterday it was perfect, It made sense it flowed well and it explained to them everything that God needed these women to hear. It is part of this lesson that God is telling me to record and post. So later today or tomorrow I will be recording that and one other lesson.
Why am I writing this? Well because when God asks us to do things that make us say “wait you want me to do what?” we need to jump out of our box of comfort and he will bless us all the more for it!
God is waiting, will you say Here I am?
